Creating a music playlist on your iPhone is a great way to organize songs you love—whether you're getting ready for a run, studying, or just relaxing. You can do this easily with either Apple Music or Spotify. Here’s how:

🛠️ Before You Start: Make sure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data and that you’ve downloaded and signed into either the Apple Music or Spotify app. If you’re not sure how to download Spotify, check out this article here

🎵 APPLE MUSIC

1. Open the Music App. Tap the red music note icon on your home screen to launch the Apple Music app.

2. Go to ‘Library’, then ‘Playlists’. Tap ‘Library’ at the bottom of the screen, then select ‘Playlists’.

3. Tap ‘New Playlist’ or the + button, then give your playlist a name and description if you’d like.
4. Add songs! Tap ‘Add music’ to search or browse songs. Tap the plus icon next to any track to add it. When you’re done, tap ‘Done’.

🎧 SPOTIFY

1. Open the Spotify App. Tap the green Spotify icon on your home screen and sign in if you aren’t already.

2. Go to your Library on the bottom and tap the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner.
3. Name your playlist: type in a playlist name and tap ‘Create’.
4. Add songs! Use the search bar to find songs. Tap ‘Add’ to include them in your playlist.
